I had an amazing experience thanks to the outstanding efforts of the guides (Scott and Aaron), they truly are great guys. This was my first guided Elk hunt and I had no idea what to expect, but everything exceeded my wildest expectations. On the third day I took a 6X6 and was fortunate to be with another hunter who took a 6X5. I was so impressed with the area in which we hunted, as it was truly breath taking. I can't wait to go back.

My brother and I came out with expectations of a trip of a lifetime and that's exactly what we got! With the close encounter with a grizzly bear and a nice 6x6 bull, it was a hunt we will never forget. There was a great variety of game and the scenery was beautiful. This was a hunt almost 7 years in the making for my father and I, and with such detail planning we had high expectations. I can honestly say all expectations were met and exceeded by the staff of Grizzly Basin. Travis runs a great operation, and our guide Aaron worked hard for us from before dawn of the first day's hunt well into the evening hours of the 7th day. While we were not successful in harvesting a Bull, it was not from a lack of effort or animals (had a running total of over 30 Bull elks spotted), rather just the joys/pains of hunting fair chase. Despite not getting a Bull, I can honestly say I will return to Grizzly Basin for another hunt. Please feel free to ask Grizzly Basin for my contact info if you want an honest assessment of their operation from a hunter, who despite not succeeding, will gladly recommend them.

Thanks for an incredible hunt. It was a true adventure and hunt of a life time. We were on elk every day. The territory is spectacular, the scenery was breathtaking, guides were top notch. You all are passionate about hunting and it shows. You couldn't have worked any harder to try and get us on the game. I hope it is not too many years before we get back up there to hunt again. 2010 Grizzly Basin Elk hunt

I have been on many great hunts in Canada and the U.S. with several different outfitters. I highly recommend this outfit to hunt with. During our stay with Grizzly Basin outfitters, we hunted Moose, Mountain Goat, Mule Deer, and White Tail Deer and there was plenty of quality game to choose from. The main camp and drop camp were both great places to stay. They have excellent pack horses and there is beautiful scenery everywhere. A shout out goes to my personal guide, Logan. You're the best!
